Life at Kei-Ai South Bay Healthcare Center

You Matter to Us

Our Staff Caring for You

We care about every resident who walks through our doors, and we are determined to help them reach their full recovery potential. We accomplish this by developing a culture of connectedness among our staff and creating a detailed approach to delivering exceptional care.

Our staff is highly trained to provide our residents with 24-hour care. They vow to show daily compassion, treat each resident with love and respect, and meet the needs of those they serve.

When a new resident is admitted into our facility, the individual and family members meet one on one with our facility representative. It is during this meeting that our representative outlines the resident’s care plan, addresses any concerns, and answers questions.

Our nursing team is available to help in any way needed. They do all they can to help a resident during recovery.

Life Tastes Good at Kei-Ai South Bay Healthcare Center

We have an incredible dietary staff that creates customized meal plans for our residents. Every new resident will meet with our director of dietetics during the beginning of their stay to discuss allergies, a treatment plan, and rehabilitation needs.

In order to promote a balanced and healthy diet, we offer a variety of delicious meals, including protein-packed egg breakfasts; crispy lettuce with fruit, berries, and feta basque in a vinaigrette dressing; and smoked salmon topped with balsamic and lemon.

If residents are hungry throughout the day, we offer a variety of healthy snacks and beverages.

Enjoy Life–Always

Our activities department cares about the social well being of our residents. According to the Harvard School of Public Health, active social interaction among seniors can lower their mortality rate and delay memory decline.

In order to encourage social interaction by having weekly activities and monthly events, we hold monthly council meetings with our residents and their family members who are interested in participating to plan future events. Once an event or activity is selected, our activities department gathers the necessary equipment and items to carry the plan forward.

Below are some of the frequent activities we hold:

Card Games

Board Games

Arts and Crafts

Television Shows

Friday Afternoon Socials

Weekly Outings

Weekly Entertainment

Birthday Singing Grams

Holiday Parties and Festivities

*Each resident has unique limitations—some more severe than others. To combat these limitations, we break our residents into groups based on their level of ability. This ensures that all residents can interact with others and develop new hobbies without exceeding their comfort level.

*Due to COVID-19, we only hold one-on-one, social distancing activities between a staff member and a resident.
